What does it mean to observe a real AI buying decision?
It means taking one agreed buying question, meeting a real answer to it, and reading the whole of it: the product named, the reason given, the sources that reason leans on, and where they are stale, thin or wrong about you.
It is closer to reading a referee's written decision than to watching a scoreboard.
What gets read
- The named product, and what the answer says it is for.
- The reason: the sentence that carries the choice.
- The sources: whose material the reason leans on, yours or not, and how old it is.
- The errors: where the answer states something about you that your own pages no longer say, or never said.
Why the reason, not the position
A position moves for reasons nobody can read, and watching it teaches nothing you can act on. A reason is text: it can be quoted, traced, and — where its source is yours — corrected.
Observation feeds the next step, a diagnosis that can be proven wrong, and the loop that carries both is on the product page.
What this answer does not claim
- What is observed is one answer at one moment, not a feed. Nothing on this site watches anything continuously.
- Reading an answer does not establish why the model wrote it — only what it wrote, and what that leaned on.
